‼The Spoon Feeding System for smelting rotary furnaces is already in operation at our client’s premises. 💪.🔧⚙
It is composed of 6 spoons - approx. 2,5-ton capacity each - one supporting structure for the 6 spoons and 1 rotating device for forklift equipped with quick release device with mechanical locking to lock the spoon and move it to the rotary furnace area.
✅Once the material to be treated is charged into the spoons through a feeding hopper, the forklift hooks the rotating device to the spoon through a piston managed by the forklift levers and transfers the spoon to the furnace area. Inside the furnace, the spoon is rotated in order to discharge the contained material.
✅The system can be used with any kind of rotary furnace: it is certified and in compliance with the European regulations and features advanced security measures to ensure the safety of the operators and the facility. ⛑
