For each industrial sector, depending on the quality requirements, STC may combine different processes and technologies: chemical-physical technologies, aerobic and anaerobic as well as membrane filtration and evaporation technologies.
The goal is always to meet the highest standards and the full removal of all contaminants from the wastewater in order to ensure that the most stringent parameters for the water discharge or possible reuse are achieved
The process combination, depending on pollutants to be removed and treated water quality targets, may include:
- Coagulation, neutralization flocculation
- Sedimentation, flotation
- Filtration, adsorption
- Removal of heavy metals by precipitation and / or with chelating resins
- Membrane separation technologies (reverse osmosis, nanofiltration and ultrafiltration)
- Concentration and evaporation plants
- Aerobic processes (with air or pure oxygen)
- Anaerobic digestion of water and sludges
- Chemical and catalytic oxidation
