STC OXY-AIR LANCE is ready in our workshop to be shipped to our US customer.
Our oxy-air lance is used in lead refining operations to selectively oxidize and remove antimony, arsenic and/or tin from the molten lead contained in the refining kettle.
A carefully balanced mix of oxygen and compressed air is injected below the surface of the molten metal through submerged lances, regulated by a local control panel that ensures accurate control of pressure and flow.
During this stage, oxygen reacts with antimony, arsenic and part of the lead, creating a lead-rich oxide layer on the surface of the bath.
As the reaction is exothermic, temperature control is essential — which is why the system is supported by efficient kettle cooling solutions to ensure safe and consistent operation.
To meet different production requirements, various oxy-lance configurations are available depending on kettle size.
Additionally, the oxy-lance system can be combined with our automatic refinery dross removal unit, significantly reducing manual handling and improving overall workplace safety and efficiency.
